INTRODUCTION

Frame s started with Netscape, and allowed the browser window to be sub-devided into smaller areas, with each area allowing for seperate independant content.

IFrame>s started with MSIE, but as of HTML 4.0 has become an "official" part of the HTML spec alongside <FRAMES>. The "I" in <Iframes> means "in-line"

IFRAMES allow you to define scrollable reagions in a web page that contain another url, sorta like a FRAMES page , except that they can float inline like tables , images and other content. The only problem currently is that

NOTE Netscape The most commonly used browser , does not support them as of version 4.5 @ January , 1999
